I loved how central this place is! The railway station, palace, and opera house are all within a few steps from the hotel. The breakfast spread was fantastic with a wide variety of dishes to choose from.

Location: the hotel was short walk to other major museums such as the National Museum and the Nobel Prize Palace as well as a club or a bar. The lunch in Hereford Steakhouse short walk from the property had every choice imaginable. I stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed the room, which was budget and neat with all necessary equipment.

We got tidy a single room with all necessary equipment as an upgrade, nice gesture.

excellent location, attractive refurbishment, artsy Art Deco signage
The room direction signs resemble a budget hostel!!! A noisy roof plant faced our room, and the bathroom lacked air extraction!!! Not to mention missing BBC on the TV!!! Perhaps reconsider soundproofing, too!!!

Unique base for travelling to Oslo and exploring local places. Single room with all necessary equipment. The hotel of choice in Oslo😃😃
Beds were quite uncomfortable.

missingWrote a review on 01 Novcentral locationbudget comfortcramped room
Location close to major attractions enables easy walking access around the city. Comfortable enough for a budget room.
Room size feels cramped, lacking adequate luggage storage for two. Bathroom layout awkward, with a shower curtain separating the toilet area, and limited amenities provided. Fresh air hard to come by with barely opening windows.

Enjoyed the awesome breakfast with a wide variety of options, including fresh fruit and delicious pastries. The location can't be beaten. Everything from the palace to the opera house is just a short walk away. The lobby felt cute and bright, setting a good tone for the stay. The room was quite cramped, lacking adequate luggage storage. The noise from the street was noticeable during the night, especially from bars nearby. Some staff interactions felt a bit off. One encounter was disappointing when asking for a room change due to cleanliness issues. These small inconveniences were offset by the value for the price and the overall cleanliness of the hotel.

Perfect spot for exploring!
Staying here was fantastic! The location couldn't be better-everything is super close, so we walked everywhere. Breakfast was a highlight. There were pancakes and fruits that we loved. The room was clean and comfy. Only thing is, the WiFi could be a bit spotty at times. Still, definitely worth it for the price!
